    To bridge the gap between the future vision and the current situation,  collaboration among nations is vital for exploration and development into the deep sea. Exploration into the deep sea can be undertaken in a similar manner like Elon Musk's SpaceX project. SpaceX introduced commercial space travel for the wealth, sending astronauts to the International Space Station. Using a similar approach, private industries can send people who are willing to pay for it to the deep sea for exploration. (e.g. OceanGate who conducted commercial exploration to the wreckage site of the Titanic) SpaceX project also prioritises safety in its missions, therefore deep-sea exploration also requires similar emphasis. For instance, United Nations should hold conference to address the issue of deep sea exploration as well as draft out robust safety protocols and international agreement on the extent to which deep sea should be developed and regulated.

    Raising awareness about the importance of exploring deep sea and its potential benefits through public engagement and education can garner support for marine conservation efforts. By obtaining widespread public interest and the financial support of investors across the countries, deep sea expeditions can be carried out to provide valuable data for the development of undersea settlements. Deep sea research stations can be built to coordinate international effort into embarking on a journey to unravel the mysteries of the deep sea.

    

Reflection:

    As I delved in to the possibilities of moving human settlements into the deep sea, I was captivated by my own innovative ideas and possibilities that could make this futuristic vision a reality. The research opened my eyes to the vast potential of underwater living, where humans can coexist with the ugly, glowing creatures. 

    One of the most striking aspects of this exploration was the incredible innovation and limitless creativity of human technology. From advanced submersible transportation systems to architecturally dynamic buildings that sway with underwater currents. The concept of deep-sea settlements showcases the abilities of human to survive in even the most extreme and challenging environments.

    The potential benefits of moving settlements into the deep sea are vast. From developing new renewable energy sources, utilising bioluminescent fishes to light up the deep sea to making the our lives self-sustainable, the deep sea presents boundless opportunities for exploration and discovery. By moving our settlements into the deep sea, we could alleviate the pressures on the ecosystem on land, giving the land resources plenty of time to replenish itself. 

    While the idea of living in the deep sea sparks excitement and fascination, it is not without it own sets of challenges. Immense water pressure that can crush anyone's soul, complete darkness that no light can penetrate, as well as the scarceness of resources pose considerable obstacles that must be addressed with careful planning. Additionally, while venturing into the deep sea, we should ensure the preservation of the delicate deep-sea ecosystem and minimising human impact on the marine life undersea.

    The journey to turn this vision into reality is long and requires extensive research as well as collaboration among scientists, engineers and environmentalists. However, the possibilities that lie ahead are both inspiring and transformative. I am left with a sense of optimism and wonder about the future of deep-sea settlements, maybe centuries later, that avatar can make it into a reality.
